Do I need to sanitise my pool?

Typically, yes, although it’s your pool and you can do what you want with it. Sanitation can eliminate algeal blooms, make your water clear and beautiful, and also prevent sickness from accidental ingestion of harmful bacteria that may build-up in your pool over time. We always recommend sanitizing your swimming pool. There are a few ways you can sanitize your pool: adding chemicals, such as chlorine or bromine, using a salt water electrolysis system, and pumping your pool water through a living plant filtration system.
